Dr Ephraim Kevin Sibanyoni is a lecturer, researcher and a Head of the department in the field of criminology and forensic studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal. His research interest include human trafficking/Albino killings for the purpose of body parts to create traditional medicine (muthi murder); gender based violence, sexual offences acts committed by children against other children, male on male sexual violence in correctional services, victim profiling and offender profiling. He has attended and presented in various international and national research conferences and supervised numerous Master students to completion and currently supervising 6 PhD candidates. He has numerous research publications and He is a member of UKZN Senate and serve in UKZN research higher degree committee and involved in various community engagements initiatives.
